I am a qualified independent Funeral Celebrant and Wedding and Family Celebrant working in Calderdale and surrounding areas in Yorkshire. I belong to the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants and am a supplier member for the National Association of Funeral Directors.

​

Throughout my career I have held positions that have had a focus on clients in both the private and public sector, this allowed me to practice sincerity, compassion, care and sensitivity. I have a huge respect for life and in my view it is the people we share our lives with, be it family, friends or acquaintances and the shared experiences we have that form the basis for a fulfilled and happy life.

My decision to become a Celebrant was not one I deliberated on for long. It became very apparent that my skills and a need to work helping and supporting people would be totally fulfilled in this rewarding and exciting role. After attending a intensive training courses with The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants I was awarded the Certificates in Funeral Celebrancy and Wedding and Naming Celebrancy. This means as a Celebrant I am qualified to work alongside clients who are tasked with creating a life changing event, one that needs to be marked in a ceremony of celebration or commemoration, a very special occasion.

This is a role where I can also use my creative flair to create an event that fulfils and exceeds expectations. Each and every ceremony will be one of shared fun, excitement, joy and sadness.  Your ceremony will be created from the heart and I know it will be a ceremony that you will cherish and reflect on long after the event.
